What this Radar is

The Alpaca Yarn Suppliers Radar names every company that moved alpaca yarn out of Peru between January 2025 and July 2026: 69 exporters, 8,915 shipments, 485 buyers in 50 countries, across 11 HS headings from combed tops to yarn on cones, balls and skeins. The two largest houses carry 91.9% of the value, and the United States takes 41.3% of everything shipped. Each exporter is ranked by 2026 value with one operational profile, and the workbook lists the buyers with their contacts.

Every exporter, verified and profiled

The ranking orders the 69 exporters by 2026 value, with each share and the movement against 2025. Behind it, one profile per company:

The workbook: shipments, suppliers and buyers

The Excel comes in three sheets, ready to filter:

Price a kilo across the market runs from $22.99 to $70.00, at a median of $41.67. The spread reflects the fibre: pure wool sits at a median of $28.16 and wool blends at $36.95, alpaca blends at $44.75 and pure alpaca at $48.00, with baby alpaca at $68.01, and the profiles say which form each exporter moves.
